Rare Disease Day 2024

Thursday 29 February is Rare Disease Day. Rare Disease Day is the globally-coordinated movement on rare diseases, working towards equity in social opportunity, healthcare, and access to diagnosis and therapies for people living with a rare disease.

Myeloma is a rare disease, and improved treatments are needed to deliver better outcomes for patients. The APAC MRDR now has nearly 1700 patients enrolled across 24 hospitals in Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and China. Along with our sister registry (the Australian and New Zealand MRDR) the APAC MRDR provides an international platform to facilitate research for investigating the best possible treatment options for patients with Myeloma.
