Congratulations are in order for two researchers who were lead authors on abstracts accepted for the American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting and Exposition in December 2023. Both studies utilised Asia-Pacific and Australia-New Zealand Myeloma and Related Diseases Registry datasets. 

Dr Andy Tang’s research “A prospective, multinational study of clinical and biological factors associated with short overall survival in multiple myeloma” was accepted as a poster, along with Dr Kenneth Lim’s “Impact of 1q21 gain and amplification on daratumumab-treated multiple myeloma patients: real-world data from the Australia-New Zealand and Asia-Pacific Myeloma and Related Diseases Registries”.
